Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to recruit a full-time, class-based Teaching Assistant.

You must be committed, hardworking and enthusiastic. The post will be a fixed term contract for 1 year in the first instance commencing September 2023.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Parent Governor

Grendon Primary School Governing Board is looking for a Parent Governor to join our Governing Board to fulfil the three core responsibilities of Governors:

  • Setting the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction
  • Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the school

This is a challenging and exciting role where you will learn new skills and extend existing ones during your time on the governing board. The successful candidate would need to have:

  • The willingness to learn
  • The curiosity to question & analyse
  • Good-inter personal skills
  • Appropriate levels of English & Maths
  • Commitment to support school and attend regular meetings.
