Grendon Primary

Extra Curricular Activities

Our school provides lots of opportunities for pupils to participate in a range of extra curricular activities. This includes P.E. and music clubs.

Previous Projects

The choir were part of the Young Voices Concert on Monday 30th January. The concert took place at the Genting Arena and they were joined by over 4000 other children and a live band. The children and staff had a great day.

In Summer 2016 the choir recorded their first music video. We did a cover of the classic hit 'Perfect day.'

In December 2015 won the Free Radio Christmas Stars competition. We won £200 worth of music vouchers and our song was played on Free Radio on Christmas Day .

In November 2015 the School Choir were involved in recording a CD 'Now That's What I Call A Grendon Christmas.' The children worked extremely hard on the day and had to be very patient as we often had to re-record things to make our CD sound as amazing as possible.

Morning Library Club

Our school library is now open before school on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Click to find out when your child can visit.

Our Library has had a bit of a makeover and we want to allow children to use the library before school. See the timetable below to see which day the library is open for each year group.

TUESDAY  Years 4, 5 and 6
THURSDAY  Years 2 and 3

Football Skills Club

Every half term each year group will get the opportunity to take part in a five week football skills course run by Mr. Goodman.

The sessions take place on a Tuesday and run for one hour. The focus is on ball skills, team work and respect.

First up will be YEAR 6. Check back here for some photos when we've had a few sessions!

Outdoor Club

Over the past three years Miss Wilson and Mr Darby have completed an Outdoor Club aimed at all year bands.

During the Summer term 2019 Miss Wilson and Mr Darby will continue to complete an Outdoor Club.
