Our school provides lots of opportunities for pupils to participate in a range of extra curricular activities. Below you will find a timetable of our current clubs and underneath this is more information and details of upcoming clubs.
Due to ongoing Covid19 restrictions we are not running clubs at this time. We hope to be able to offer these again in the next academic year.
ON THIS WEEK:
Mr Bache runs the Choir, supported by Mrs. Fox. Choir runs on a Wednesday from 3.30 to 4pm. This year is shaping up to be another amazing year so keep an eye on this page and updates will be coming soon.
The choir were part of the Young Voices Concert on Monday 30th January. The concert took place at the Genting Arena and they were joined by over 4000 other children and a live band. The children and staff had a great day.
In Summer 2016 the choir recorded their first music video. We did a cover of the classic hit 'Perfect day.'
In December 2015 won the Free Radio Christmas Stars competition. We won £200 worth of music vouchers and our song was played on Free Radio on Christmas Day .
In November 2015 the School Choir were involved in recording a CD 'Now That's What I Call A Grendon Christmas.' The children worked extremely hard on the day and had to be very patient as we often had to re-record things to make our CD sound as amazing as possible.
Football Skills Club
Every half term each year group will get the opportunity to take part in a five week football skills course run by Mr. Goodman.
The sessions take place on a Tuesday and run for one hour. The focus is on ball skills, team work and respect.
Over the past three years Miss Wilson and Mr Darby have completed an Outdoor Club aimed at all year bands.
