Dear Parents,

We are writing to inform you about the Easter Bonnet Parade, which will take place in the KS1 hall on the 26th March 2025 at 9:00 AM.

The pupils in years Reception – Year 2 will be able to participate in the competition which will be judged by the School Captains.

The bonnets must be child-made and should be on an Easter or Spring theme. Remember, if it doesn’t fit the theme, it will not win!

We will be looking for creativity and for evidence of meeting Grendon’s Goals, especially:

• Nurture our health and wellbeing – enjoy the activity and have fun!
• Demonstrate our independence – child made, parents can supervise but please don’t make it all, your child has to do most of the work!
• Offer effective communication – talk about what you are making!
• Never give up-BE RESILIENT – keep going even if it is hard!

The main prize will be an Easter egg for the winner in each class.

We hope that you have an EGG-citing and EGG-cellent time making your Easter Bonnets!!
