We are extremely pleased to inform you that the building work has remained on track and that Phase 1 has now been completed.

This now means that the children in Years 5 and Year 6 will return to their original classrooms that are located at the top of the Key Stage 2 building when the children return to school after the half-term break on Tuesday 3rd November.

Phase 2 involves further work within the Year 3 and Year 4 section of the building, office areas and corridors. To reduce the impact on teaching and learning, particularly with noise from the building works, the Year 3 and Year 4 children will now move to the spare classrooms within the school. By doing this, the children will be working well away from the roofing work that would have been taking place directly above their original classrooms.

The aim is to then have the Year 3 and Year 4 children back within the Key Stage 2 building during the Spring Term 2027.

Drop off and Collection Information from Tuesday 3rd November 2026:

• RW - Miss Wilson and Miss Boynton (enter and exit through Reception gate at the end of the front playground).
• 1T – Mrs Thompson and Miss Roath (enter and exit through Reception gate at the end of the front playground).
• 2P – Mrs Pollitt and Miss Campbell (enter and exit through main entrance).
• 3C – Mrs Collins and Mrs Kaur (enter and exit through the door where the school library was previously located in the front playground. Please collect children from the fenced off area in the front playground).
• 4G – Mrs Godfrey and Mrs Barshan (enter and exit through the door where the school library was previously located in the front playground. Please collect children from the fenced off area in the front playground).
• 4L – Miss Locke and Mrs Suthers (enter and exit through the main school entrance. Please collect children from the front playground).
• 5H – Mr Hedderley and Mrs Beedon (enter through Year 3 and 4 side playground and door and collect them from the carpark area, staff will direct).
• 5F – Mr Feely and Mrs Fox (enter through Year 3 and 4 side playground and door and collect them from the carpark area, staff will direct).
• 6B – Mr Bache and Mrs O’Hare/Mrs Shea (enter and exit through Year 3 and 4 side playground and door and collect them from the carpark area, staff will direct).
• 6N – Mr Norris and Mrs O’Hare/Mrs Shea (enter and exit through Year 3 and 4 side playground and door and collect them from the carpark area, staff will direct).
